what i think the title should be

  I think the world remained silent fits more better than night because night  is going to sleep.  Also silent is where they don't speak  and obey people. If  the night  wasn't the title it would make more sense  because
everyone   has to be silent  in the concentration camp  or they would be beaten most of the time.
