I think he pick night b/c it was evil and bad to a point that a lot of jews had dead, He had been thought a lot in his life losing family and friends. Wiesel had went through a lot of pain and suffering, he had seen death in other people and even his father that had dead t the end before they was free. Wiesel had giving up hope and on faith and he feel like he was sleeping and s ready t wake up. He had to put all pain and suffering aside to live so he wouldn't die there.  I don't know why he had name it night but i like it i wouldn't want someone to change the name of the book.
