Night or And The World Remained Silent

Reasons to name novel "And The World Remained Silent"
1. Because the rest of the world didnt really acknowledge the holocaust.
2. came years later after the holocaust was found out
3. After the holocaust ended no one really knew about it

Reasons to name "Night"
1. Majority of the time it was dark and gloomy
2.  the "Night" his father died
3. Most of the events happened at night


                                        I think night is a perfectly good title for this novel. With a simple title like night it can mean so much more. Using night instead of the other title is better to me because at night so much happens and so much can happen. Wiesel experienced most of all his events at night. Night is also scary like the concentration camps because you never know what can happen at night and wiesel didnt know what would happen at the camps. The other title is also a mouthful and night is just one simple word.
