Night of Broken Glass!

The Night of Broken Glass was an event that involved a massive attack on the Jews during night time. It is called this because over 250 synagogues were burned, and 7,000 Jewish businesses were trashed and looted. It wasn't really planned, more of a all-out rampage because a German official was killed at the hands of a Jewish teenager. During this event, the police nor the firefighters did anything to help, they just stood by. After this event, life was way harder for German and Austrian children and teenagers. They were already banned from museums and  swimming pools, and now no Jews could attend school. And it was already bad enough that Jews were not allowed to manage businesses unless they were managed by non-jews. Many Jews tried to leave, while others committed suicide.
